SolvixaLabs
In short: Git Client doesn’t collect, store or share any personal data. There is no account with us, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your code, tokens and settings stay on your Mac, and the app only talks to GitHub — and to Jira and Anthropic if you choose to connect them.
Git Client is made by SolvixaLabs (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Git Client app for macOS and this website. If you have a question about it, write to privacy@solvixalabs.com.
None. Git Client has no sign-in of ours and contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking code. We don’t receive your repositories, diffs, comments, credentials or usage.
Everything Git Client works with is kept locally, inside the app’s container or in folders you choose:
safeStorage. The app only ever shows you whether each one is set, never the value. If you keep repositories in iCloud Drive or another synced location, that service’s own terms and privacy policy apply to those files.
Git Client only connects to the internet when you ask it to. Each of these goes directly from your Mac to the service named; nothing passes through us.
| When you… | Git Client connects to |
|---|---|
| Sign in, browse pull requests, issues, notifications or repositories, or post a review | GitHub (github.com and its API), or your GitHub Enterprise host |
| Fetch, pull, push or clone | The git remote you configured |
| Run a story review, draft a commit message, or ask for conflict suggestions | Anthropic’s API, with your own API key |
| Link a Jira story to a review | Your Jira Cloud site, with your own API token |
GitHub, Anthropic and Atlassian each handle the data you send them under their own privacy policies. We never see it.
AI review is optional and off until you add an Anthropic API key. When you run a review, the parts of your work needed for it — the diff of your changes, the pull request description and commits, and, if you linked one, the Jira story and its acceptance criteria — are sent to Anthropic’s API under your key and subject to Anthropic’s privacy policy and the terms of your own account with them. Findings are shown to you; nothing is posted to GitHub until you click to post it.
If you obtain Git Client through the Mac App Store, Apple handles the transaction and tells us only anonymous, aggregate sales information. We never see your payment details. Apple’s handling of that data is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.
This site is static and serves no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Our host records ordinary server logs, such as IP address and requested URL, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Git Client is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete. Everything the app stores is on your Mac and under your control: remove a credential in Settings, or delete the app and its container to remove the rest. If you believe we hold data about you, write to privacy@solvixalabs.com and we will respond.
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and a material change will be noted in the app’s release notes.
