Please include your Mac model, macOS version and Git Client version (Git Client › About Git Client), and what you expected to happen. Don’t send tokens, API keys or other secrets.
Open Settings and either paste a GitHub personal access token, or use Sign in with GitHub, which uses the OAuth device flow. The device flow needs the client ID of a GitHub OAuth App that has device flow enabled; pasting a token works without one. Your token is encrypted with the macOS Keychain.
